We held an important meeting with Hüseyin Ceven, the Head of Volunteerism and Civil Society Relations Department at AFAD (The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) in Ankara. The main agenda of the meeting was to introduce our association’s current projects and discuss campaign protocols. In this context, we evaluated the possibilities of collaboration for future projects, especially the “Let Your Pen Be A Spark” and “Clothing Support” campaigns.
At the end of the meeting, based on the information received and the current circumstances, we decided to continue our projects without cooperation with AFAD. However, we will continue to carry out our projects within the framework of volunteerism and civil society relations, and we will keep contributing to the community.
As Kıvılcım Association, after this meeting with AFAD Ankara, we reviewed our campaign protocols and are moving forward with our projects without delay. This meeting, which highlighted the importance of volunteerism and civil society in Ankara, will contribute to the advancement of Kıvılcım Association in line with its mission.
