Kıvılcım Association Participated in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Thematic Civil Society Consultation Meeting
Kıvılcım Association was pleased to participate in the Thematic Civil Society Consultation Meeting organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Civil Society Relations at the IMM Saraçhane Council Hall. The event brought together representatives of public institutions and civil society organizations to discuss the future of Istanbul, strengthen collaboration, and encourage sustainable partnerships that generate long-term social impact. The consultation meeting was attended by Mr. Nuri Aslan, Acting Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, who emphasized the vital role of civil society organizations in participatory local governance. Nuri Aslan highlighted the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and collective decision-making in building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable city. Throughout the meeting, participants discussed the current needs and expectations of civil society organizations operating in Istanbul, as well as ways to strengthen communication and cooperation between public institutions and nonprofit organizations. Kıvılcım Association and Şişli Vocational School Organized the “Entrepreneurship in the Global Market with Amazon” Seminar
Continuing its youth-focused educational activities, Kıvılcım Association brought young people together on the journey toward global entrepreneurship through an inspiring educational event. Organized under the coordination of Kıvılcım Association and in collaboration with İstanbul Şişli Vocational School (Şişli MYO), the “Entrepreneurship in the Global Market with Amazon” seminar was held with strong participation from students. The event gathered students from different departments and communities within Şişli Vocational School, focusing on entrepreneurship, digital transformation, e-commerce ecosystems, and opportunities for accessing international markets through Amazon. Participants explored the rapidly evolving world of digital business while gaining insights into global entrepreneurship strategies. Led by Konuray Aydıner, the seminar offered both theoretical knowledge and practical perspectives on expanding into international markets. Kıvılcım Association participated in the Future of Education Summit & Education Contribution Awards 2026, a prominent gathering held in Istanbul that brought together leaders from education, business, and civil society. The summit focused on the theme “Future Jobs,” highlighting key transformations shaping the workforce and education systems. Hosted at Pera Museum Auditorium, the event explored critical topics such as artificial intelligence, future skills, sustainable career paths, and the evolving expectations of young people. The summit provided a strong platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, emphasizing the role of education in driving social transformation. As Kıvılcım Association, we had the opportunity to connect and exchange insights with leading experts, including Emin Çapa. These interactions enabled us to strengthen our perspective on youth empowerment, education transformation, and impact-driven initiatives, while also opening doors for potential collaborations.
