As Kıvılcım Association, we proudly took part in the 47th Istanbul Marathon—organized by Spor İstanbul and sponsored by Türkiye İş Bankası—for the first time this year. Through the Adım Adım and Run for Goodness (İyilik Peşinde Koş) platforms, we ran to raise donations for our Education Spark project, which aims to provide financial support to university students in need.
The 47th Istanbul Marathon stands out as the world’s only intercontinental race, bringing together thousands of participants every year to run for good causes. Taking part for the first time was a meaningful milestone for Kıvılcım Association. With Türkiye İş Bankası as the main sponsor and the strong organizational backbone of Spor İstanbul, this marathon allowed our campaign to reach a wider audience and amplified our message of collective goodness and social responsibility.
Our Education Spark project focuses on offering financial support to university students, helping them continue their education despite economic difficulties. For us, every step taken during the marathon symbolized a spark of hope for a young person striving for a better future. Through the support of the Adım Adım and Run for Good platforms, hundreds of volunteers ran with us, donated, and helped us expand the reach of our campaign.
Participating in the Istanbul Marathon for the first time was not just an athletic event for Kıvılcım Association—it represented solidarity, impact, and the power of collective action. This experience strengthened our commitment to supporting education and showed once again how small steps can create big changes.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who ran, donated, shared our message, and helped us grow the spark of goodness. Your support fuels our mission and keeps the flame of educational opportunities alive for university students.
And this is only the beginning! Kıvılcım Association will continue running for good, expanding our projects, and supporting more students through the Education Spark initiative. Together, we will keep spreading the spark of goodness—one step, one runner, and one student at a time.
