As Kıvılcım Association (“KIVILCIM”), this clarification text has been prepared to inform you, our users, about why the cookies we place on our website (www.kivilcimdernegi.org/tr) are used in order to comply with the obligations under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

7. What are Your Rights as a Personal Data Owner?
Personal data subjects have the rights listed below within the scope of Article 11 of the Law “regulating the rights of the data subject”:
- Learn whether personal data is being processed,
- Request information if their personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- Although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.
Relevant persons shall make their requests arising from the Law through the “Relevant Person Application Form”. The Association will finalize the application requests free of charge in accordance with Article 13 of the Law, according to the nature of the request and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. In case the request is rejected, the reason(s) for the rejection shall be notified in writing or electronically with justifications. The Data Subject undertakes that the personal data subject to this Clarification Text is complete, accurate and up-to-date. In case of any change regarding his/her personal data, he/she will be able to request that his/her personal data be updated by informing the Association. In the event that the Data Subject fails to provide accurate and up-to-date information, the company will have no responsibility. This Clarification Text may be renewed by KIVILCIM when deemed necessary. In cases where revision is in question, the Data Subject will be informed about this matter. You can submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the Law regulating the rights of the data subject to our Association in writing, through a notary public and by secure electronic signature in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”.
