Okan ÇİNAR

Okan Çinar was born in Istanbul in 1993. He graduated from Kültür University, Department of Graphic Design. He continued his career as an intern for 4 years and as a Visual Communication Designer for 2 years in ‘Ilancılık’. During this period, he received training in history, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Free Hand MX, Creativity, Brand Communication, and Project Manager. He improved his language skills in English and Japanese. He started to work to evaluate his development and contributions in his corporate life in the field of civil society.

Okan Çinar laid the cornerstone of his contributions to the field of civil society in 2012 while working as a visual communication designer at the Spinal Cord Paralysis Association of Turkey (TOFD), during a ten-year period in which he worked as a Project Manager in various projects such as TOFD Ağaç Yaşken Eğilir, TOFD Masal TV, TOFD Turquoise and TOFD Youth Studio.

Okan Çinar, who has a nineteen-year swimming career in addition to his identity as a designer and works tirelessly to make a difference in the field of civil society, fights for a more fair and inclusive world by transferring his corporate experiences and skills to civil society.

He decided to establish the Kıvılcım Association to be a spark for civil society. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, he continues to grow the Kıvılcım Association day by day and reach more people with his vision and leadership ability.
