Visit to Bahçelievler Municipality Family Support Center
As Kıvılcım Association, we recently visited the Bahçelievler Municipality Family Support Center, aiming to contribute to a sustainable future with solutions that address the needs of all segments of society. During this meaningful meeting, we emphasized the importance of collaboration in reaching all communities and shared information on our association’s projects and future goals. We toured the Family Support Center’s store, which provides clothing assistance to those in need, to better understand how the support processes work firsthand. In this productive meeting with Bahçelievler Municipality, we explored ways to reach more people and discussed possible collaboration opportunities to further support those in need, especially through projects such as the “Clothing Support Campaign” and our educational equity initiative, “Let Your Pen Be A Spark .” Following these initial discussions, we have started working toward establishing a sustainable protocol with Bahçelievler Municipality to provide clothing and school supplies for people in need.
Preparing to Bring Spark with Bağcılar Municipality!
At Kıvılcım Association, we continue to explore new partnership opportunities for projects that benefit society. In line with this mission, we recently visited Mr. Murat Yıldız, Head of the Social Assistance Department at Bağcılar Municipality, in his office. During our meeting, we shared information about the projects we’ve accomplished and the future initiatives we aim to develop, expressing our intention to establish a strong collaboration with Bağcılar Municipality. We also had the chance to tour the “Charity Market,” Bağcılar Municipality’s program providing clothing assistance to those in need, and observe firsthand how donation and support processes are carried out. This productive discussion with Social Assistance Department Head Murat Yıldız allowed us to consider potential joint efforts to reach a wider range of people in the community. Meeting Between Kıvılcım Association and AFAD Ankara
We held an important meeting with Hüseyin Ceven, the Head of Volunteerism and Civil Society Relations Department at AFAD (The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) in Ankara. The main agenda of the meeting was to introduce our association’s current projects and discuss campaign protocols. In this context, we evaluated the possibilities of collaboration for future projects, especially the “Let Your Pen Be A Spark” and “Clothing Support” campaigns. At the end of the meeting, based on the information received and the current circumstances, we decided to continue our projects without cooperation with AFAD. However, we will continue to carry out our projects within the framework of volunteerism and civil society relations, and we will keep contributing to the community. As Kıvılcım Association, after this meeting with AFAD Ankara, we reviewed our campaign protocols and are moving forward with our projects without delay. “Spark of Education”( Eğitim Kıvılcımı )
As Kıvılcım Association, we are preparing to launch our “Eğitim Kıvılcımı”( Spark of Education ) project to increase equality of opportunity in education and support young people to take stronger steps towards their future. With this project, we aim to provide financial education support for university students. Spark of Education is designed to provide support to increase students’ academic success. Kıvılcım Association, which closely follows the needs of university students, aims to help students overcome the difficulties they face in their education life with this project. We produce projects because we know how important it is to be with our young people on their educational journey and to be a spark for their future. By supporting education, we aim to contribute to their success and walk together to the bright future of our country. Our Negotiations with MEB and ÖSYM
Kıvılcım Association continues to develop new projects to increase equal opportunities in education. In this context, we are pleased to announce that we have started protocol negotiations with the Ministry of National Education ( MEB-Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı ) and the Student Selection and Placement Center ( ÖSYM-Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi ) for the “Kalemin Kıvılcım Olsun”( Let Your Pen Be a Spark ) project. Our project aims to provide equal opportunities in education and support students. As Kıvılcım Association, we believe that these collaborations are a big step towards realizing our projects. In these meetings with MEB and ÖSYM, we shared the details of our project and we continue our work for a brighter future.
