Becoming, Spreading, and Growing the Spark at the 47th Istanbul Marathon
As Kıvılcım Association, we proudly took part in the 47th Istanbul Marathon—organized by Spor İstanbul and sponsored by Türkiye İş Bankası—for the first time this year. Through the Adım Adım and Run for Goodness (İyilik Peşinde Koş) platforms, we ran to raise donations for our Education Spark project, which aims to provide financial support to university students in need. The 47th Istanbul Marathon stands out as the world’s only intercontinental race, bringing together thousands of participants every year to run for good causes. Taking part for the first time was a meaningful milestone for Kıvılcım Association. The First Spark for a Strong Collaboration with Şişli Vocational School!
As Kıvılcım Association, we continue to take strong steps toward empowering young people in education, social development, and civic engagement. We are thrilled to announce that we have started the protocol preparations with Şişli Vocational School (Şişli MYO) for future-oriented projects that will ignite new sparks of change. At Kıvılcım Association, we continue to support emotional awareness and mental balance through meaningful events.In our recent Instagram live broadcast, titled “A Spark in Every Emotion!”, we welcomed our guest expert Oya Özer to discuss anger management and stress management in everyday life.Participants explored how to recognize their emotions, manage anger in a healthy way, and use subconscious awareness as a tool for emotional transformation. During the live chat, Oya Özer emphasized that anger should not be suppressed but understood and transformed.
