The Spark of Relationship Lies Hidden in the Subconscious
At Kıvılcım Association, we continue to organize awareness events that help individuals better understand themselves and their relationships. On August 10 with Oya Özer, we hosted a live session titled “Relationships and the Subconscious”, where we explored the hidden dynamics behind repetitive patterns in our social and emotional lives. As Kıvılcım Association, we continue our mission to raise awareness in society and improve the quality of life for individuals. On July 20, we hosted a live session with expert Oya Özer, where we focused on the topic of “Family Communication”. The event was both interactive and engaging, receiving great interest from participants. The Importance of Healthy Family Communication Family is the first social environment for individuals, and healthy communication plays a crucial role in maintaining both emotional and social balance. During the session, the importance of empathy, understanding, and active listening among family members was highlighted. We also discussed how misunderstandings, generational conflicts, and the fast pace of daily life can affect family bonds. Challenges and Practical Solutions Oya Özer shared practical strategies for dealing with communication problems within families. Key points included building healthy bonds with children, avoiding communication breakdowns between partners, and developing conscious approaches as parents.
Look Beyond the Mirror: Awareness on Anorexia Nervosa by Kıvılcım Association
On July 13, 2025, Kıvılcım Derneği hosted a meaningful Instagram Live event to shed light on an important mental health issue. Titled “Look Beyond the Mirror”, the session featured Dietitian Yağmur Ölmez Kızılkuş, who discussed anorexia nervosa in depth. This event wasn’t just a talk—it was a spark for awareness. Anorexia nervosa is a serious eating disorder, increasingly seen among young women, that deeply affects physical and mental well-being. Starting the Day with Breath and Balance – Online Morning Yoga with Kıvılcım Association
On the morning of July 6th, we welcomed the day with breath, movement, and mindfulness through a peaceful online yoga session hosted by Kıvılcım Association. Guided by İlsu Ceren Gümüş, our Zoom-based morning yoga event brought together participants to start their day with a sense of balance and calm. Beginning the day with yoga is not only a gift to the body but also a reset for the mind. In this session, we engaged in breathwork, mindful movement, and grounding postures that encouraged inner peace and awareness.
